Tucker McWeeny was born and raised in the West End of Hartford Connecticut. Proud graduate of Noah Webster elementary, Quirk Middle and Hartford Public High School. Tucker spent two years in Ireland completing an International Baccalaureate from St. Andrews College (Dublin). Tucker received a B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and J.D. from University of Connecticut School of Law.

Prior to joining Susman, Duffy & Segaloff, P.C., Tucker spent three years investigating Fair Housing and Fair Lending claims for State and Federal government with Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities.

Tucker was previously associated with Silvester & Daly. He began as an associate in 2009, became partner in 2017. In 2020, Tucker opened a solo practice.

Tucker’s practice has been focused on civil rights and municipal defense. Tucker spent years defending public housing authorities and private housing providers targeted by administrative investigations and in both State and Federal Court. In 2015 Tucker also began representing Plaintiffs in Fair Housing/civil rights litigation. Tucker has worked with large industry groups and small non-profit entities and accepted pro bono referrals from CT Fair Housing Center and Statewide Legal Services. Tucker has been recognized as an expert in evaluating attorney performance in civil rights litigation. He has been invited to lecture industry groups on civil rights, Fair Housing and reasonable accommodations.
