Since 1980, Laura has been actively involved in the representation of commercial borrowers and lenders in the closing of acquisitions, financing and refinancing transactions. Such representation has included asset-based financings, state and federal grant and loan programs, and multi–million dollar Connecticut projects undertaken by out-of-state developers.

Her corporate practice includes the formation and representation of business organizations of every description, including healthcare facilities and providers. Laura also counsels business and individual clients on estate planning and business succession planning.

Laura is a member of the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Business Law Section. She received an undergraduate degree from Wellesley College, a masters from Case Western Reserve University, and a law degree from The University of Connecticut, where she graduated with honors.

Laura has served as a Trustee of The Foote School in New Haven and as chairman of its Development Committee. She currently serves as a Trustee of the Foundation Trust of the Congregation Miskhan Israel. Laura and her family live in Hamden.
