Technology
Susman, Duffy, & Segaloff, P.C.'s computer
system is based on the Microsoft Business Server v. 4.5 platform
with Compaq Proliant fault tolerant hardware. The server has a
Pentium III 866 MHZ Processor with three 18 GB hard drives. The
system supports thirty three workstations. Printing is centralized
on Hewlett Packard network attached printers.
Network applications include Microsoft
Exchange/Outlook for Internet, interoffice mail, calendaring and
scheduling. Corel Office 2000 provides word processing, spreadsheet
and other office productivity applications. Microsoft Office and
its accompanying applications are also available. Additional practice
specific applications are accessible to the firm's litigators,
both domestic and civil, as well as to real estate, title insurance
and estate planning professionals.
The staff accesses all State, District
and Federal Courts from each workstation via the internet or by
means of a communications server. This communications server permits
access to Westlaw, a legal research library, as well as court
access.
Citrix Metaframe is used to deliver
selected applications to the staff regardless of their physical
location, securely, over the internet.

professional staff has access from each workstation to the www
for information and research relative to their practice of law.
Each employee may communicate directly with clients from their
workstations via Fax From the Workstation capability or via e-mail.
